A sunny to stormy Sunday all the way to the beach | Weather ...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- I'm meteorologist Mike Prangley. Scattered strong storms have now weakened and moved offshore. Not before a lightning strike ignited a new wildfire at Jennings State Park. We will have a live update at 11 p.m. A few leftover showers will quickly weaken over the area and look to the east for a beautiful moonrise.

The tropics are busy with Franklin no more but we now have Tropical Storm Gert?which could impact Bermuda with tropical force winds tonight. I would not be surprised if Harvey and Irene also form over the next week. So make sure to stay tuned and prepared as we head into the heart of? hurricane season.
