Keeping with their tradition of sharing just enough to drive fans wild, the holy trinity of house music, Swedish House Mafia, have revealed a tiny glimpse of what dance-music passionates can expect from their upcoming video for "Save The World." Judging from the clip, it appears a certain amount of assault and canines are involved.

Each heavy-hitting dance-music brands in their own right, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell first previewed "Save the World" (with vocals by new artist John Martin) at their Masquerade Motel: One Night Stand in Miami over Miami Music Week back in March. Since then, the song has become easily one of the most anticipated EDM releases of the year. After all, "Save the World" follows DJ set staples "One" (featuring N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams) and "Miami 2 Ibiza" (their Billboard Dance Music #1 featuring British rapper Tinie Tempah).

The "Save the World" clip is largely comprised of three scenes: a diner attendant on a late shift, a gentlemen chilling in his car and two lovely ladies walking the streets (presumably of L.A., where the video was shot). Then, weaving between each of these settings, our subjects are attacked by separate assailants. Two ski-masked goons descend upon the diner attendant, smashing his tip jar with a baseball bat. A masked attacker crowbars the driver's car window. And one of the beautiful lasses walking the streets is pulled away from her friend with a hand over her mouth.

Curiously, the teaser ends with a shot of the derriere of a dog wagging its tail. And why not? It's a teaser, after all. But fret not, SHM fans: The video should have a happy ending. After all, how could an epic sing-along in the feel-good, one-love tradition of the house-music experience end in any other fashion? In a couple of weeks, we'll know for sure.

The video for "Save the World" was directed by Jon Watts, who has also done video for Sleigh Bells, TV on the Radio and Fatboy Slim. The full video is set to premiere May 20; the single will be available for purchase Tuesday.

Does the teaser have you hyped up for the full video? Let us know in the comments!
