Life Time Fitness is currently seeking a qualified Mixed Combat Arts Coordinator to drive success in our Mixed Combat Arts program.
Mixed Combat Arts is a complete mixed martial arts school within Life Time Fitness. It is a 1600 square foot training facility outfitted with 80 feet of cage, 10-6 foot Thai heavy bags and 1600 square feet of MMA mat. Classes are offered for members from 3 years and up. Classes consist of Boxing and Thai Kickboxing heavy bag classes for all levels, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling and Level 2 Boxing and Muay Thai.
As the Mixed Combat Arts Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of the Mixed Combat Arts program to include program promotion, space management, department connectivity, schedule coordination, and instructor management. Your business acumen, mixed martial arts expertise and strong teaching skills will enable you to build an exciting program that can't be beat!
Responsibilities
- Ensure and monitor continuity of class content and execution with regard to program standards
- Partner with Activities Center regarding member registration and rosters
- Hire instructors and set pay rates with approval of Program Manager
- Manage and develop team of instructors
- Partner with Program Manager to coordinate class schedule
- Integrate club promotions into MCA programs when applicable
- Promote program within club to members
- Work with relative club departments for promotion and management of facility.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years training preferably in 2 of the 3 main arts taught: Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
- 2+ years teaching experience
- 2+ years management experience
- Certifications/ Rank in the above mentioned arts preferred
