Job Description The Argyle School District is accepting applications for a half-time special education Early Childhood (EC) teacher to serve Early Childhood students for the 2012-2013 school year. Experience working with early childhood aged students is preferred. Candidates for this position must possess the skills and knowledge needed to provide the support and instructional services necessary for students with disabilities to achieve educational success. Knowledge of special education programs, processes, and procedures is preferred, especially diagnostic assessments. Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments also a plus. The ability to communicate effectively with students and their caregivers is essential. Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with special education teachers, regular education teachers and colleagues are desired. Ability to create and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom consistent with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.? ?
